Established in the year 2000, and based
in Carlisle, Cumbria with a diverse background that includes love of my
computer, and interior design (yes, interior design!) I know you are
thinking, what has interior design got to do with the web? Well, I feel I
have an eye for aesthetics, which helps when you want a website that is pleasing
to look at. I know that aesthetics aren't the most important aspect of a
site, but they go a long way to ensuring your visitors don't just 'surf on'.
To Blazeweb Design, the most important
aspect of a website should be content, then clarity and ease of use. I
don't want to confuse people with technical details, I want them to find
the information needed quickly and easily, so Blazeweb stick to a 'one click'
policy as far as possible, the definition of which is, 'get wherever you need to
be in one click'.
When designing sites, I make my own
buttons, backgrounds, and logo's as part of the website design. All you
pay is per page, as is clearly defined on my prices page. There are no
hidden charges.
After being given information on each
business, such as leaflets etc (anything you use in your business) Blazeweb will
do an initial design of just one page, showing buttons, colours, backgrounds,
etc. When you are happy with the style, the content will be added page by
page. You can view your site at any time by looking on Blazeweb Design's
'current' page, which is updated when needed.
If you want me organise domain names and
hosting for your site, I don't provide this myself, I am not a reseller, but I
will organise it for you on your behalf, then invoice you for cost
only. I charge no commission for this service, and I am always searching
for the best deals on the web.
Blazeweb Design's pricing structure is
based on the fact that I work from home. I have low overheads, which
filters down to each client, but that doesn't mean you won't get professional,
personal, service. I don't use templates, I design each site individually,
and put 100% into my work.
Blazeweb doesn't ask for full payment
until you are happy, and the website is launched. For customers out of
area, I would ask for a deposit which would be agreed at outset, as it would
mean that we would probably only communicate by 'phone and email. I
have built websites for clients I have never seen face to face, after all,
it is called the 'world wide web'!
After launch, I will submit your site to
free search engines at no cost to yourself. If you decide you want to be
submitted to paid search engines, I will do this on your behalf, and invoice you
at cost only.
Updating your site as needed is very
easy, you just let me know what you want amended, and I will make the changes at
a cost of only £10 per hour, calculated down to the minute. If I do five
minutes work, you are charged for five minutes work.
